Club Development Celebration Event
Saturday 29th June 2013
The club is holding a special event to celebrate the completion of the major development programme that has led to the transformation of its courts, clubhouse and grounds. This is the cumulation of over a decade of significant effort by members and deserves to be heralded in a grand style!
Event Details
The event will feature a varied programme of entertainment and activities, including
- Hog roast
- Free glass of champagne for the first 50 guests
- Exhibition tennis match
- Fun tennis activities
- Afternoon tea & refreshments
- Live music (jazz band)
- Formal ribbon cutting and speeches ceremonials with a special guest of honour (TBA)
- Fireworks

Diamond Jubilee at PLTC
Royal Diamond Jubilee Street Party, 2012The weather was kind on Jubilee Monday as the PLTC 'street party' was well attended by those looking to enjoy the celebration a more traditional way. Face painting, raffles, win-a-bottle stall, lawn tennis, pork pies, Pimms and ginger beer made it a day to remember! Well done to Kath for masterminding proceedings!
